Recycled Rubber Surface by PlayGuard®

Environment Design, llc. Is the northeastern distributor for PlayGuard®, the playground safety surface manufactured from recycled material. Made from 100% recycled rubber, the surface is designed to reduce the risk of serious injury. The surface comes in many variations and presents a clean and colorful alternative to traditional safety-base materials such as woodchips and sand.

Key features: Designed as a 24” x 24” modular system, PlayGuard® features a patented Ultra wear layer for durability and longevity. The base is water permeable and exhibits a high coefficient of friction—even when wet—for greater traction. PlayGuard® meets 6-and-8 foot critical fall requirements per ASTM F1292-04 and is CPSC compliant, in addition to meeting ADA standards. This product is made is the U.S.A. from the highest quality recycled rubber.
