Inclusive play environments and equipment cover a wide spectrum. The main focus is giving everyone the ability to be able to interact. The possibilities are about individual capacity. Those that are mobile without mechanical assistance can play on everything that is popular in a play area. Mechanical devices such as wheel chair and walkers limit the capacity to negotiate stair and steep inclines. It does not limit anyone from joining in the play environment. Ground level inclusion is easy to enhance in any play environment design. Including ramps to acquire the height requires consideration on how it interacts with the rest of the play arrangement.
Children of early age seek past differences to find connections to their piers.
The idea of inclusive design is an important addition that adds to social awareness of any play environment.
